Inclusion Through Media - ITM Projects

All work produced within the ITM Partnership will be distributed to the widest possible range and number of people through a range of different media channels. ITM will also ensure our work reaches influential policy makers.

Almost Adult. A subjective film about what it means to be frightened in an alien world.

Be Roma or Die Tryin.' A collaborative documentary produced with a group of young Roma people.

Beatz! Camera! Action! An artist development programme for young musicians.

Beyond The Numbers Game. A research project looking at the efficacy of existing performance measures for participatory media work.

Converge. A project increasing the opportunities for young people to exhibit and distribute moving image productions.

Creative Clusters, the leading global event on policy for the creative economy and on culture-led regeneration.

Psychosis Awareness DVD (CSV / Beta). A film training programme about mental health issues with a group of young men with experience of mental health issues.

Deaf Media Resource (Beta). A website providing information and inspiration for deaf people who are interested in a career in the media.

Boost (Digital Central / Alpha) A fit for funding scheme in the West Midlands, consisting of business workshops, mentoring, network events etc.

Digital Features. A project that takes participatory filmmaking to a wider audience by making Feature Films.

Digital Media for Social Change MA Module. A Digital Media for Social Change module as part of the MA in Cross Sectoral and Community Arts.

DigiTales. DigiTales is a digital storytelling project involving people from across Europe making short films about their lives.

Edrama. An innovative online multi-user role-playing tool.

Inclusion Through Media Publication. A book about the themes explored in Inclusion Through Media, to be published in Autumn 2007.

ITM Leeds Collaborative film making project in East Leeds.

L8R. An award-winning interactive youth drama series on TV, DVD and the web.

Mental Health Media Awards. Awards that recognise and celebrate the best reporting of mental health issues in the broadcast media.

Music for Screen and Drama. Research existing Music Education and employment paths for visually impaired people, particularly in the audiovisual sector.

Open Up. A project that brings together people with experience of mental distress to lead the way in taking action on discrimination.

ITM Cornwall: Collaborative media projects with young people and communities across Cornwall.

Breastfeeding Awareness DVD (PCT Health / Beta). A learning resource DVD focusing on breastfeeding for expecting mothers, developed with a group of young mums.

Projecting Stoke. A film project giving a voice to communities based in Stoke-on-Trent.

Seven Seas aka Brick Lane Trainee Scheme. A training programme to provide opportunities for 7 trainees to work in the production of a feature film.

Strip Searchers (Beta). A project supporting and nurturing amateur talented comic illustrators in West Midlands.

Ten 4 (Beta). A practical training and industry support scheme for talented amateur journalists.

UK Sound TV. A youth run broadband channel focusing on UK underground music, emergent technology and local/global issues.
